Getting ready to go solo
One of the joys during the Seattle to Toledo ride was not staring at a screen. I did have a laptop and tried to keep email under control. Other than a few blog posts, I didn’t really touch electronics. This includes my phone. Both Ida and Jon will confirm that I stood around waiting for someone to point the direction to go.
Being solo, and only having a phone, will knock me out of my comfort zone. I always have a laptop nearby. The Toledo to Atlantic Ocean journey will be the longest time since before college that I didn’t have a computer at hand.
The real purpose of this blog post is for me to test out the folding Bluetooth keyboard I got for the trip. This text was entered via phone/folding keyboard. It is much more usable than I expected. When folded, the keyboard is also bigger in every dimension than my phone. I know storage will be tight.
Will find out if the keyboard can deal with a bit of dampness and road grime.
Bluetooth keyboard with phone.!! Good thinking..
